Editing a Project
There are two ways to get to the Project Wizard.
Link or Update BIM
The BIM is vital to your Collegium experience. The Collegium platform treats the BIM as a database, and ties all the procurement workflows and reporting to actual modelled objects, so we preserve data fidelity all through the process. To link a model, simply navigate to the project overview, and click Link to or Update BIM.
Validate the BIM
BIMs are complicated, and it's easy to miss small issues. Collegium has a built-in Model Validator which will list any detectable data or other issues which can be passed on to the architecture team. It is highly recommended that all model issues are resolved before building any work packages.
Make a Work Package
A work package is one or more model elements and associated tender settings for vendors to bid on.
Viewing and Evaluating Bids
Once a work package has received one or more bids, the owner can view, evaluate, award, and send contracts for these bids in the work package Bid Balancing tab.
Managing Soft Costs
Not everything in a construction project is modelled. Things like inspections, commissioning, and photography are necessary and incur costs, but do not lend themselves to architectural modelling. Collegium lets you account for these costs and route them through the invoicing workflow quickly and conveniently.
Financial Reports
As Collegium is a data-forward platform, the generation of financial reports has been automated. Project owners can instantly retrieve up-to-date reports on how the project is progressing, or select a specific period of time. Let's explore.
Archiving
As a project owner, it may become necessary to archive a project or work package. Here's how to do it.
